Labor Of Love: A native from Switzerland, Geneva, Aline Rebeaud came to Vietnam as a young artist, in late 1992. She sold her first painting to finance her relief initiative for the benefit of the street kids, and the handicapped, founded the House of Luck (Maison-Chance) in 1993, a small orphanage/Vocational Training Center in Bình Tân district. Aline has devoted her time ever since to help the needy, and obtained world wide contribution towards the expansion to build the Village with many facilities
to be inaugurated in March 2010 (more details..).

VN Community Project Travel 2008
a 15-day trip. Thanh Phu is an ethnic minority village of the Red Dao people, located near the hill station town of Sapa in NE Vietnam. The villagers' lives revolve around agriculture with the planting and growing of rice and vegetables on the mountainside. The village does not have access to fresh and clean water with only a temporary bamboo pipe system carrying water from a nearby mountain spring.
VN Community Project Travel 2007 (Completed)
a 19-day trip. Trek through the hilltribe villages of Mai Chau (Vietnam) and
participate in the construction of a primary school for the community of Buoc.
Coupled with this experience, the itinerary also encompasses the classic sites
of Vietnam from north to south.
